Essential Functions:

• Maintain full time status at 38-40 hours per week unless otherwise noted by the practice owner. Regular attendance and punctuality are essential to fulfill the requirements of this position.
• Manage hospital finances.
• Maintain inventory, and oversee proper storage of supplies and equipment.
• Schedule team members in appropriate areas at all times.
• Moderate to advanced knowledge of all job functions assigned to veterinary technicians, receptionists, assistants, and kennel techs.
• Fill in as needed, and provide training to all areas of the hospital.
• Perform job evaluations for all employees.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and laws. This includes but is not limited to OSHA, DEA, and the Department of Labor.
• Ability to direct, guide and assist employees with problem solving.
• Knowledge of computers and relevant software applications utilized by the practice.
• Requires lifting and carrying records and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Requires sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
