Jennifer- Practice Manager & Veterinary Technician
Meet Jennifer! Jennifer joined our team March 2020. Jennifer is a Connecticut native who graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2009 with a Bachelors in Animal Science, and a minor in Sociology. She comes to Canterbury Tails with over 15+ years of experience as a Veterinary Technician and a Veterinary Technician Coordinator. Jennifer is a lover of basset hounds, and parrots. She is a volunteer with the Connecticut Parrot Rescue, where she helps parrots find there forever home. In her free time she enjoys county fairs, card crafting, and spending time with her niece's. Jen is the proud owner of tortoiseshell cat Loki, and an American Chinchilla rabbit Ophelia.
Liz- Certified Veterinary Technician
Meet Liz! Liz joined our team in December of 2019. Liz grew up in Southborough MA. She has always had a love and desire to work in the animal field. After high school, she attended Becker College and graduated in May 2016 with a BS in Veterinary Science and AS in Veterinary Technology, While attending Becker College, she also worked at Southborough Veterinary Hospital as a veterinary technician. Liz continued to work at Southborough Veterinary Hospital for 9 more years. Liz now lives in North Brookfield with her fiancé Ryan, her elderly Shih Tzu Sasha, and puppy Labrador Retriever Waylon. When not working, she enjoys baking and cooking as a hobby.
Stacy- Veterinary Technician
Meet Stacy! Stacy joined our team in June of 2020. She comes to us with many years as an experienced ultrasound veterinary technician at Tufts University Hospital for Small Animals, training veterinary residents in ultrasound techniques. As you can she is a lover of German Shepherds. She enjoys educating our clients on behavioral modification techniques to build a strong bond between owner and canine. Stacy resides in Brookfield, with her husband, daughter, and 3 German Shepherds (Murray, Maya, & Blitz).
Samantha- Receptionist/Veterinary Assistant
Meet Samantha! Samantha joined our team in August of 2020. She brings with her 6 years of customer service experience. While not caring for your beloved pet(s), Sam is studying Veterinary Technology to one day become a Certified Veterinary Technician. Sam is a native of Ware, and loves spending time with her Black Labrador Bella, and domestic long-haired calico Beauty. When not a work, Sam enjoys the great outdoors, including riding quads, ice fishing, and camping.
Fiona- Receptionist/Veterinary Assistant
Meet Fiona! Fiona joined our team in October of 2020. She is a senior at the University of Massachusetts majoring in Ecology & Conservation and hopes to one day go to veterinary school. As you can see Fiona is a lover of goats. She has experience managing a Dairy Goat Farm, banding and monitoring Osprey, and managing a Horse Show Stable among many other various talents. She resides in Amherst with her adorable rescued short-haired Boudicca. When not working, she loves to go rollerblading, ice skating, and swimming in the local lakes and ponds.
Meet Sarah! Sarah joined our team in March 2021. Sarah is a Connecticut native, who moved to Ware in 2019, where she resides with her significant other Zack. She attended Manchester Community College where she earned her Associates Degree in Science. Sarah is also the office administrator for the local painting company, ZM Painting, that's here in Ware. She is the proud owner of 2 cats (Bear and Yoda) and two dogs (Jager and Sadie). In her free time she enjoys ice skating, boating and walking her dogs. Sarah looks forward to meeting all the friendly faces of Ware.
Shannon- Veterinary Assistant
Meet Shannon! Shannon joined our sister hospital, Belchertown Veterinary Hospital in November of 2019 and has been spending time as well at our Canterbury location starting in January 2021. She comes to us with 4 years of experience as a Veterinary Assistant in Troy, New York, where she grew up. She moved to Western Mass in 2014, and spent several years as a dog-walker, going on long outdoor adventures with her pack. She loves reading, gardening, and being outdoors with her rescue dog, Pigeon.
