Jennifer- Practice Manager

Meet Jennifer! Jen joined our team in March 2020. She is a Connecticut native who graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2009 with a B.S in Animal Science and a minor in Sociology. She comes to Canterbury Tails with over 15+ years of experience as a Veterinary Technician and a Veterinary Technician Coordinator. In her free time she enjoys county fairs, card crafting, and spending time with her nieces. Jen is the proud owner of 3 rescue pets, Loki (Tortoiseshell Cat), Ophelia (Giant American Chinchilla rabbit), and Blitz (German Shepherd Mix). Jen is pictured with her is her beloved late Basset Hound, Lemon.

Heather- Veterinary Technician

Meet Heather! Heather joined our team August 2022. Heather graduated from the University of Massachusetts with her B.S in Animal Science. She has worked in both emergency and veterinary medicine specializing in orthopedic surgery. Heather is most passionate about surgery, and providing exceptional care for both the patient and pet parent. In her free time she enjoys spending time in the outdoors with her son, significant other, and 3 dogs Tahoe (Aussie), Tundra (Aussie), and Harlow (Pit-bull). Heather is pictured with our clinic dog Blitz.

Shannon- Surgical Veterinary Assistant

Meet Shannon! Shannon joined our sister location, Belchertown Veterinary Hospital, in November of 2019 and joined us at Canterbury Tails Vet in January 2021. She came to us with 4 years of experience as a Veterinary Assistant in Troy, New York, where she grew up. Shannon oversees the care for all of our surgical patients. Her meticulous attention to detail, and superb bedside manner is appreciated by her patients and clients alike. In her free time she enjoys reading, gardening, and exploring the great outdoors. Shannon is pictured with her sweet rescue pup, Pigeon.

Samantha- Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist

Meet Samantha! Samantha joined our team in August of 2020. Sam brings with her experience working as a receptionist for a local emergency veterinary hospital. She enjoys the outdoors especially ice fishing, and camping throughout New England. She is the proud owner of two German Shorthaired Pointers Silas & Winston. Sam is pictured with her adorable pointer pup Winston.

Sarah- Veterinary Assistant

Meet Sarah! Sarah joined our team in March 2021. Sarah is a Connecticut native who moved to Ware in 2019, where she resides with her partner Zach. She attended Manchester Community College where she earned her A.S. in General Studies with a concentration in life sciences in 2017. She brings with her 10 years of customer service experience. She is the proud owner of 2 rescue cats, Bear and Yoda, and a German Shepherd, Jäger (and misses her beloved late GSD Sadie). In her free time she enjoys ice skating, boating, and walking her dogs. Sarah is pictured with her GSD Jäger.

Christine- Receptionist

Meet Christine! Christine joined our team in December 2021. She comes to us with over 20 plus years of experience in the banking industry and a B.S from Penn State in Behavioral Science. Christine and her husband are residents of West Brookfield. She is wonderful mother to her three kids and three dogs. In her free time, she enjoys going to the beach and attending concerts. Christine is pictured with her Bernedoodle Henry.

Jenna- Veterinary Assistant

Meet Jenna. Jenna joined our team in March of 2022. Jenna grew up in New Jersey and moved to Belchertown in 2020. Jenna graduated from County College of Morris with a degree in Biology. Jenna was drawn to veterinary medicine after spending a year working at The Raptor Trust, a wild bird rehabilitation center in New Jersey. In her free time she enjoys hiking, kayaking, and birdwatching with her partner- and spending time with their rescued deaf senior kitty, Ivory! Jenna is pictured with her adorable Ivory.

Jordan- Veterinary Assistant

Meet Jordan! Jordan joined our team in March of 2022. She resides locally here in Ware. She is a 4th year Veterinary Technician student at UMASS. She knew veterinary medicine was her calling from a young age. Jordan comes to us from Leicester Animal Clinic. She is the proud owner of a Golden Retriever named Bailey, and Domestic Shorthaired named Tek. In her free time she enjoys collecting Pop Figures, and Marvel memorabilia.

Bella- Veterinary Assistant

Meet Bella! Bella joined our team in June 2022. Bella is a native of Wilbraham. She is a graduate of the Animal Behavior College. She is passionate about pit-bulls. We will often find her cuddling, and loving on all our clinics Pittie patients. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her pit-bull/boxer Blaze, hiking, and checking out all the great hidden river gems in New England. Bella is pictured with our clinic mascot Blitz.
